You live in a great area to get into teen modeling. Here Are 3 Steps To Getting an Agent FAST:1)
Make any size copy of a recent photo. Go for shots that show off your eyes and hair, keep the background simple, and remember to smile!
You don't need to spend hundred of dollars on professional photos - modeling agents agree that pre-teens change so quickly. A nice photo from Sears Portraits will be fine.
On the back, be sure to write your name, birth date, contact number, height, weight, hair color & eye color.2)
Include a short note about what you're interested in pursuing. (modeling, commercials, web, catalog, film, etc.)3)
Then mail out to prospective, licensed agents.Important:
Because you're considered a minor, you'll need your parent's consent.
Different model agencies accept photos by mail, email, or online. Be sure to follow the agency guidelines before submitting any photos.IMPORTANT TIP:
Attach a well-written cover letter. For example, tell an interesting or funny story about why you will make the "perfect" model, or special skills or talents she may have such as horse showing that will make her stand out.
Agents get hundreds of pictures daily so the competition is fierce...but it's worth the effort. Check out more modeling tips HERE...
