Creative writing, spatial design, architecture, design communication visual

I've always liked spatial design and architectures ever since I was little. I used to play this game called 'Ameba Pico' and I would spend hours designing my room - without realizing it, I really did enjoy the game. I want the type of job that I will enjoy, such as designing and creative writing. My spatial design works are on instagram under the account vgab.t , but I have not really done any writing yet - eventhough I would love to. I want to try what it's like to be able to design something, and I am taking spatial design as my major in university - that is in about a year, more or less. I would like to have some experience to know what I should prepare myself for.
